Matzah sucks. Granola doesn’t.

My (Jewish) mother sent me back to school after Spring Break with a box of matzah.

So during the actual week of Pesacchhh, I ate a few sheets of matzah with dinner, but then that was it. Cause it sucks.

The thing is that Passover actually is probably the best holiday of the year on the first two nights or so, when you have a seder and everything. But then it seems like the rest of the week is just a big quest to get rid of the matzah as fast as you can. Cause it sucks.

  • Matzo Brei.
  • Matzo w/ butter or jam for breakfast.

Then I found this recipe courtesy of the Jew and the Carrot:

Maple Pecan Matzah Granola

1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. maple syrup
6 c. matzah farfel
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c dried cranberries
Preheat oven to 350F.  Line a baking sheet with parchment paper- set aside.  In a saucepan over med. heat melt butter and then mix in maple syrup.  In large bowl combine matzah farfel, cinnamon, and pecans.  Pour in butter-syrup mixture and mix well, until all farfel is coated with syrup.  Spread  “granola” on baking sheet.  Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring every 8-10 minutes.  Remove from oven when golden and crunchy, toss dried cranberries into the  mix- allow to cool.  Enjoy with milk, on top of yogurt or cottage cheese.

Are pickles the best drunk food?

Pizza just makes u feel like crap (crepe) when ur drunk and hungry.

Went looking for the Naughty Dog hot dog stand on 7th & Walnut last night, as posted on their Facebook page. Don’t think I found it. I was on 7th & Walnut, though, so I don’t get it.

"Is this the Naughty Dog?"
"No. Is that a good or a bad thing?"

Just went home and had some pickles.
